Do custom UPF items still provide UPF protection?
UPF wording applies only to supported products made with our tested fabric — rashguards, sleeves, spats, compression shorts and sports bras where stated. Testing covers the material, not garment design or body coverage.
*UPF 50+ refers to fabric tested to AS 4399:2020 (Black/Grey 85% Polyester / 15% Spandex), rated UPF 50+ Excellent Protection. Rating applies to the tested material only and does not assess garment design or body coverage. Custom colourways or fabrics may not carry the same rating.
